As a young boy, William Fellah could be found with a sketch pad and pencil in hand asking to draw or paint your portrait. His love for capturing his subjects in front of him quickly evolved from a hobby to a passion.
William grew up in Westport and attended Staples High School, where a teacher named James Wheeler profoundly guided his artistic development. After graduating, he earned a Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut with a major in illustration. This specialization fostered the development of his highly detailed drawing and painting techniques.
William later worked as a staff artist for the Danbury Mint. His main projects consisted of painting intricately detailed animal sculptures, which furthered his technical skill set.
The creation of Fellah Fine Art LLC was a natural extension of William’s love for creating custom art, connecting with people, and capturing the unique details of his subjects.
William’s artwork is displayed in numerous Connecticut homes, local art shows, restaurants, and other businesses. His clients are always overjoyed with their custom portraits, which are often commissioned as gifts to loved ones.
